    My lake 2 years ago:

    With a very dry winter ahead its going to take years to get the water back-Better start putting water in bottles because we have 6-7 weeks of water left.

                      most of the lakes here in NW FL are really low, we got a lot of rain over the past couple weeks but its a long ways from returning to normal, hopefully it'll be a wet winter for you guys

                            I think I'll go out and water my street. I'm not so crazy afterall. I lived through a drought where Marin County had to run an 2ft diameter pipe from the East Bay over the Richmond Bridge so we, the richest county in the country at the time, could have water. The lake ran almost dry in Marin. Nobody wastes water on my watch anymore. Even here in Washington State.
                            I am a true ass set to this board.

                              I was telling everyone who would listen back in the 80s and early 90s when all that growth hit GA that this wold happen if GA had a drought that lasted. You can not have a small lake like Lanier be the only source of water for that many people. The ATL area has seen millions move in and one lake built in the 60s I think can not handle that many people. I guess progress cant be stopped huh? Unless everyone dies of thirst.
