Why the rant? It's not like you'd have bought those guitars at "pre-shaven cost" anyway.

That's not my point. You are correct. I have never bought a Hamer. My point is that guitars used to be made by a few factories with there own build specs. Good, bad or whatever. Now, the individual "Names" are going to built by one "Big" factory. That just doesn't sit right with me. So, I will stick with buying older guitars.I am a true ass set to this board.

Until you do this you will be jabbed and prodded but us "Holier than Thou" we own USA Jackson guys and you will only live the existance of a pathetic mortal amongst us Gods that are holders of the true Jacksons...
Still waiting for my Thorazine...

I have never ruled out a USA Jackson.:ROTF: But, before I fork over big fett-bucks I will have to see it in person. Therefore, one of those has to show up at my local pawnshop. I am a Viking god-like person in my own context.:ROTF: Reality, is a beast that needs to sit on my horned helmet.Last edited by fett; 10-30-2007, 04:18 PM.I am a true ass set to this board.

I disagree. The small buliders can't compete. Parts are parts. Wood is wood. They can't buy them in bulk. So, they pay up and the fact that their labor costs are probably 20X the "Mega Company's" will price them right out of the market.I am a true ass set to this board.

The whole "Gibson shapes" thing might be alright, since Hamer's been doing them for 30 years. We'll see, I guess.Dreaded Silence - Boston Melancholic Metal
