1 through a bazillion. My Granny's homemade candy. You like Almond Roca? It's time to give you the best homemade candy receipe in the whole world. You older members remember this.:ROTF: Here's what you do. 1: Find a tall pot. At least 10 inches high and a 12 inch base. 2: Know your stove. Temp control is what it takes. 3: 2 cups of sugar. 1 cup of water. And 1/2 pound of butter and 1/2 pound on Imperial Margarine. It has to be Imperial. 4: slowly pre-melt the but/Imp. Then add the water and sugar. 5: The fun starts. Bring that to a boil and then you have to stir it constantly. Depending on your stove, it may be 20 to 35 minutes. 6: The transformation. Keep that stuff boiling. It will go from yellow, to almost bubbling over, to amber, to brown and lava-like and then the timing really kicks in. While you are still stirring let the lava start to smoke a bit. Once you get a wiff of smoke, you have about 1 minute to pour in the buttered cookie sheet that I forgot to mention earlier.:ROTF: If you want to add nuts, do that with about 3 minutes to go. This shit gets really hot. So make sure the pot you are using has good handles. This stuff just kicks ass and your family will love you for it.

I actually saw "Zotz" the movie when it first came out. I ended up with a "Zotz" coin. But I forgot how. I guess they gave it to us with the ticket. That was a long long time ago.
