Bad night for me

I came home from work about 2:30 am and my dog which has had a tumor for the last year. The vet had said it was cancer.
She had passed blood out both ends and lay in pure agony.She didn't have the energy to bark when I came in the door.She was a mini red Pomerainian and had been my best bud for 10+ years.
I had to put her down myself and it was the hardest thing I have ever done.
I couldn't let her suffer.

Oh man, I don't know what to say. Can't imagine what I''ll do if my buddy ever passes away, he's 15 now...

I'm sorry man...Know how you feel. I came home to find one of my cats dead last night. Had her for 16 years (I'm going to be 27 next week). Must have slipped off of my bed, tried to catch herself, and got caught on the mattress. Suck.

Man, I'm sorry for your loss. I cant imagine having to put her down yourself, that had to be horrible. But you did the right thing, don't doubt that for a second. She's at peace now and you gave her a good life. Just remember all the joy you gave each other.

Sinistas, sorry for your loss too man. I found my cat dead coming home from work too, he was almost 16. That was many years ago though. I haven't had the heart to get another cat since, but I really should have.

My wife and I just got 2 toy poodles (21 week old brothers now) and I can't even begin to imagine what you went thru. However, I agree that you did what was best.

My advice would be to go get a new puppy to help ease the pain of your loss!
