Isn't the Priest, suppose to throw some concept CD out before the end of the year or just shortly after? Either way I'll give it a listen before I place my vote.
Peace, Love and Happieness and all that stuff...

"Anyone who tries to fling crap my way better have a really good crap flinger."

I personally do not care how it was built as long as it is a good playing/sounding instrument.

Priest's concept album coming out is about Nostradamus.
I'm gonna eat your brains and gain your knowledge.

If it's anything like the epic "Lochness monster", I'll pass.

Priest really needs to go back and work on "Point of Entry" type of material. They were on to something with that. I never get tired of that one.

Again, my vote is on the Thunderpussy for 2007

Did you hear Angel Of Retribution? I'm not a huge Priest fan but that album was pretty badass. Haven't heard a lot of their stuff but I really dig Painkiller too.

I love MF and KD, but I don't have his new one yet. So far for 2007, I'm voting for Overkill's Immortalis album.

I thought AOR was really good, but didn't like the lochness "epic" and was hoping they'd leave that stuff to Maiden, then they announce a whole concept album. That has me worried.

Painkiller ruled, Turbo wasn't as bad as I remembered. Ram it down has the WORST drums ever, I can't listen to it, and the songwriting is eh.
Timmy's two albums were good overall, but Glenn's lyrics on cyberface and a couple of others were worse than some of the stuff I came up with in 8th-10th grade.

Here's to priest! Hope it doesn't suck, now back to the "Greatest Albums of 2007" with our host King Diamond.

                  Toss up for me between:

Between The Buried And Me - Colors?
                  Circus Maximus - Isolate
Deadsoul Tribe - A Lullaby For The Devil
                  Machine Head - The Blackening

I think Circus Maximus is gonna take the cake on this one, that album is easily one of the best of the last decade.

So do any of these nominations for 2007 have good, non-cookie monster vocals?

No way is this KD record album of the year. It's okay but nothing special. Everything sounds too compressed, there's no breathing room and the songs aren't very special.

Dude, you can't get better singers than Jorn Lande, Matt Barlow, Mats Levin, and the singers from Circus Maximus and Pagans Mind, or Zero Hour and ECT!!!

                            so YES!!!!

Got 'em. The man is a genius as far as I'm concerned. I pretty much love anything Deadsoul Tribe has ever put out as well. A lullaby for the devil and a murder of crows are both excellent, excellent, excellent albums.

Haven't heard the new upcoming pagan's mind yet though, will get round to it as soon as I have some $$$ to spare.
