  • More of 24seven's art work

As some of you know, 24seven has painted a few guitars for me (Model 2's and a Model 5). This is her latest piece of work on a bike tank...

Thanks guys! I didn't think Sean would upload this but he wanted you all to have a look...looks like i have plenty more bikes/trucks/bonnets to do! all i can say is WoW myself!
I never met these guys before in my life, they are hard motorbikers, you know the type harleys etc, but i don't have much of a clue about bikes or guitars really, i was born to do art, that's my profession and first love....cheers

p.s i also sprayed one of Sean's old guitars to a nice purply blue colour, just now waiting to see what design to put on it, that is work in progress!

the eyes are hand painted, i can do a lot of handpainted stuff and one of the other guys prefers it, airbrushing i have done for over 25 years now!

Absolutely awesome. That would look so killer on a guitar.

Hey 24seven, just curious, do you have the complete mad skillz needed to do a turn-key guitar paint job? In other words do the sanding, wood sealer, deal with neck through issues, mix right amount of plasticizer, clear coat, etc?

Hi Axewielder, yes to your question, I have done several guitars others have ruined with sanders, plus i completed a years course on car body finishing....etc, and it really is not necessary to strip a whole guitar to the bare wood, you just scotch brite the surface....those who follow my work know i am doing one for Sean at the moment, it was apple candy red, but now it is a gorgeous purply blue metallic....
no further progress we are trying to decide what design i can paint onto it.

and finally to 'wakeupdead' it's strange being called a dude, cause i am a female!!! ha ha

Really? One issue I've noticed with refins is that if the paint is thicker than the stock paint, the hardware (input jack, control cavity cover, trem cavity cover, etc) doesn't fit the guitar any more.
