  • New Studio Pic Heavy

    Hi Everybody,

I'm very excited, I just finished my new studio room. To make a long story short I decieded to make a room in my basement becuase I was sick of playing in a concrete room with concrete dust getting in everything. It started as just a room but now I'm in the process of finishing the entire basement. But first things first, lets get this room done. We today I finished it. Now it isn't anything extravagant. I was thinking resale so I made it more like a bedroom with a closet. I wanted to keep cost down and take up as little space as possiable. If you cut my basement into quaters this room is only takeing up one quater. I also insulated the shit out of everything and so far to seems to have really worked. Anyway I'm really excite, what do you guys think.

There is a test picture to make sure it works. It should be the door to get in.......

    Alright it worked.....

Here is an over view when you walk in.

    My work station.

A cool place to store all my crap.

    The drum area.

My home practice rig. My other amp and my favorite Jackson guitar are at my band practice room. I'll need to post a pic of that guitar.

The door to the closet...and my RR5.

And finally my closet...errr a vocal booth!

I'm very proud of myself, I think I did a pretty good job!!!!!

Went with the high gloss paint I see.

I wish we had basements here in AZ.

              Nice!

I would love to convert a basement into a studio. Unfortunately, the cheap parts of London doesn't have basements

The expensive parts of Texas don't either

                Nice work! I am jealous.

What? You got windows in your basement! Nice job....no matter how big we make our rooms we always want em larger, usually sooner more than later...looks like you got plenty of room to kick them walls out farther later.Very Cool!

Awesome man. We're slowly turning my basement into a studio... but the ceiling is very low

                          That's some awesome work though.

Well I have windows becuase it is a walkout basement. I actually wanted to put my room in a different part of the basement but I figured it wouldbe better to have the windows in the "bedroom" rather than a storage area. I have low ceilings too. It is kinda hard to tell from the pics but the ceiling is just under 7 foot tall, or coarse I'm only like 5 foot so I don't notice. Anyway thanks for the nice words........now who wants to come over and jam!!!!!
