This is what causes the loss for incentive to work. What happens when people lose the incentive to work?

It's a great utopian philosophy. It really is. But it doesn't work like that.

Perhaps YOU should have used SOMEONE.

      Sorry about misunderstanding YOUR point.
Then go back and re-read the post at the top of this page. I said "some get so pissed". Your making it too damn easy...

This thread is getting amazingly stupid.

Symbols, beliefs and ideologies are exactly that, ideas. Some may produce positive/negative results depending on your own frame of reference and your own perception of them, largely coming from how you are influenced by them or sadly, other peoples opinions of them. An idea never kills people, other people do.

No matter how the US constitution may or may not protect the people of the world, everyone is entitled to express their own individuality through speach and some other forms of self expression. For the sake of an example, I don't agree with Freyr if he is a communist but I agree with his right to express it. That's what it all boils down to.

          Peace.

Again, fuzzy logic. You may not attach human traits to symbols, but most other people less "enlightened" than you have, for eons. It seems to be a matter of convenience. I do have pride in the flag, for the ideals it represents. And I am not ashamed of it.
To suggest the Soviet symbol does doesn't represent the absolute opposite of what the US was founded on, is to deny history.

Go after spelling and punctuation first. I really like that.

Just a picture. A picture on a post board about Jacksons. But some get so pissed about it they are demanding that he change it. Thats about as lame and as un-american as it gets...

I see nothing wierd about it at all. I engage in this stupid board a lot. I've seen quite a bit thats pissed me off. Some I've talked about, a lot I have not. I just let it go. Why? Because this is just a stupid Jackson post board. It's not life and death...

So I don't take myself too seriously. And you shouldn't either...

I don't see anything fuzzy at all. It's a symbol. That's it. A symbol of a failed idea at the hands of murderers. I blame Stalin and his henchmen, not the symbol. I've always been like that though and I guess I'm in the minority...

I can understand not liking it personally. Like I said, whatever baggage you bring to it is your problem. But to demand that he change it is what I don't understand. What happened to the idea of "Don't like it, turn the channel"? That concept is gone in the USA. A small and vocal minority can change everything for the masses. That is what I don't like about this country now. It didn't use to be that way...
