Congrats on the little cutie. I told my wife about this thread when it started. Now we're expecting our second one and she came to me last week with a name where Jackson was the middle name. I vetoed the first so I already forgot it

Actually, the placenta is the babies food source and lungs and whatnot. The cord is hooked to the placenta and everything that goes into the baby first goes through that deflated football looking thing.
