I think it's just the difference in what we want from the message board. I look and post at this section for entertainment purposes. Trolling is part of that entertainment. Others bite the bait and thus become part of the game. All knowingly though.

I look and post in the other sections for information and advice. I do more reading in the other sections because there isn't much value I can add. One shouldn't troll in those sections nor follow someone around the board and antagonize them.
