I hit a UPS Store today

for the first time. And I may go back. I had to ship a big box and the rate was fine. I told the guy about the two pair wood snow shoes I have. They are really tall shoes, man. :ROTF: No problemo. And they are right next to the supermarket I hit at 8AM. Perfect.

It was a 18"X18"x18" box. 20 pounds The cost $21. USPS would have been the same. The difference is the UPS Store opens at 8AM and I didn't have to wait in line. As for the kids, I just don't get it. That's all I can say without causing a shit storm.

Doesn't UPS ship by weight? Or is an 18" x 18" x 18" box the same no matter the weight?

Yep, shipping is a big deal here. I let the UPS Store pack the majority of my stuff so that if I have to make a damage claim, it goes much smoother with UPS The additional cost is offset by the fact I worry less if I have to file a claim.

Good job Fett! Now just don't hit the Store with your car!
