I have heard Joe (Toejam) and he can play. I, on the other hand am just a rhythm player. I truly do suck at lead playing. Why? Simple. I don't practice enough. I am self taught. Never had anyone to even point me in the right direction.

I did take about a year of lessons in '86/'87 from Mike Romeo, but after that I mostly just read tab books and picked up stuff on my own, never really practiced enough either.

Joe... is there a recording software you're using with the tone Port? I use a guitar port. And have to start my recording program first then open the port software in that. click record on a track and go. The convert the file to a wave or mp3 dependng on what i want to do with it. The software should have a sound file converter in it some where. Then just up load it to a soundclick or similar site. And there ya go.

I'm using the software that came with it... the Ableton Live Lite 4 Line 6 Edition. I also downloaded the free upgrade for Lite 5. I'll have to check it later and see if there's a way to convert the sounds. My roomate bought it for me for Christmas last year, I recorded a couple of quick clips and saved them to my computer, but had no clue what to do after that.
I just use it to play my guitar through and pretty much gave up on the software, but I really should dig into it and learn.

I was asked at a guitar shop yesterday to stop. They just couldn't take anymore. They lost an amp sale over it, but they said they didn't care. They just wanted me to stop playing.

Just kidding, but I did stop so every one else could hear the dude that was doing sweeping arpeggios (sp?).

Is there a photobucket type place for MP3's? If so, I could get something recorded this weekend so that all of you will feel better about your own skills.

I can't figure out this soundclick thing, but as soon as I do I will post something. My dog was howling and crying last night when I was playing:ROTF: , so that should give you some kind of indication of my skill level.
