    Bought it last night.

    Seems like a good game, but I never got too far into the 2nd mission when I had to go to bed(5 hours of sleep left)...
    Played the demo, beta- it runs better than ever, but not by much. It's barely noticeable.

    dx10 is useless, if you buy it, add -dx9 to the end of the location properties to run it in dx9.

    I'll be playing it this weekend and online.

    I'm using 1152X864
    Tex Quality->High
    Obj Quality-> Medium
    Shadows->Med
    Shaders->Med
    Volumetric->Med
    Physics->Med
    Game Effects->High(what does this do?)
    Post Processing->High
    Particles Quality->Medium
    Water Quality->Medium(does more than you think for fps)
    Sound Quality->high

    I think that's it?
    Runs at 25 fps min(just dips), around 40 avg, 60+ high.

    Evga 8800 GTS 320 mb
    2GB OCZ 800 mhz ram
    Q6600.....etc..

    I notice a definite difference between dx9 and 10.

      Yeah, DX10 enables you to turn on the very high settings. Although I've heard that if you hack a config file you can have that setting on DX9 as well.

        I won't buy Crysis until the glitches/bugs are worked out and until the next gen of graphics cards come out.

        I have a 30" Dell running 2560x1600 with an 8800 GTX, and even if I had SLI I couldn't run it at native resolution.

        Gears of War does play 45-55fps @ 2560x1600 maxed out, and I'm playing that and Team Fortress 2 right now. Just bought COD4 for $35 shipped, so waiting for the guy to mail it out... that COD4 demo plays at 2560x1600 just fine too.

        So early next year I'll be able to play Crysis they way I want. lol
