    A decent Wah pedal.

EDIT: I swear I posted it 'sic' before I even read Ken's post above! Great minds think alike.
You took too much, man. Too much. Too much.

You could also get a pickup that you'd like to try out, but would be pushed to risk your own hard-earned on. Something from Bareknuckle in the UK or Lundgren in Sweden, perhaps?

Welcome to bare knuckle pickups. We provide a bespoke, handwound and handmade pickup build service.

Lundgren guitar pickups har tillverkat mikrofoner för elgitarr och elbas sedan 1990. 1996 presenterades företaget på Internet och har varit med sedan dess.

I'd get one of those red Digitech Whammy pedals.. completely useless, but they seem so much fun.

Holy crap those are expensive pickups. Are they actually better than the usual suspects DiMarzio and SD?

Yeah, a funky Wah's not a bad idea. Not very interested in more PU swaps - I'm happy with what my guitars have now.

            ...Any more?

I've never actually heard a guitar with pickups from either Bare Knuckle or Lundgren, but people over at sevenstring.org swear by both of them. I probably should have risked getting a Bare Knuckle for the bridge in my KV2, but I chickend out and ordered a SD TB-5.

Boss Micro BR. Retails for $229 but you can get a minty one on eBay for less than $200. I just got myself one of these and its pretty good. A digital recorder, drum machine, MP3 trainer, COSM (you know what they are since you own a GT-8) effects. Best for plug and play anywhere, learn songs, etc. Doesn;t sound as good as the GT-8 (obviously) but does the trick while trying to learn new songs.

Actually, I'm not very good at that, Shawn. I had 2 gift cards for GC from last Christmas that I finally just used a couple of weeks ago for some PUs. ...Honestly, that's why I'm looking for gear ideas.

2 crisp thousand dollar bills? - I'd have no trouble finding stuff to spend those on. Two crisp hundred dollar bills? - I find the choices to be harder when the dollar amounts are smaller.

EB - actually, I had scoped those out on my own and they do look interesting. ...How is it for recording? Any good? Or cheesmo?

I was surprised that its actually very good. I recorded by connecting the headphones out of the gt-8 into the line-in and did not use the on-board effects. the recording was so "loss-less" if that's a word, I was very surprised.

Previoulsy, I have used a iMic into a Laptop and audacity. but that was not very good.

                            Nice headphones or monitors

Christmas is supposed to be fun. It was when we were kids, but personally i just find the whole thing more and more stupid and materialist.
