It's worse in Florida. Sean Taylor died this morning. I woke up at 5:00AMish to hear this update on the local news. 11/27/2007. His house was broken into last week and he came down to investigate.

Now, don't jump to conclusions. It's tragic and that is a fact. He was shot in the leg. That is not a shoot to kill. What if it was just some punk looking to hit a ritzy home? I'm sure all the sordid details will eventually become public. Because, that's what we do now. The poor guy isn't even buried yet and the shit flys. I hate the direction this counrty is taking in the media; in our love of stars; in our (I lost the word) living our lives through other's, and all the rest of the BS.

Pardon me, but the report I read stated that two shots were fired, the first missing him and the second striking his leg. Who knows, the first shot might have been intended for the head and the shooter didn't know he missed.
