One more midterm from another course, again I studied my ass off for it, 3 days in a row. didn't go home for 2 nights! I knew every single topic really well and I entered the exam hoping I could get 90+ over 100. Then there were these 2 stupid questions , 30 points each. While I was trying to do the first one I ran out of time! Couldn't move my pen for the second one so I could just fill 40 points worth of questions!

The 2 questions were "write a computer program that does bla bla, using the X method and while using the X method do not use the Y method for applying the X method" kind of questions which can never be the case in real life. And I had only a half of a sheet to write a "computer program"

I'm going to get a good 40 from this midterm and my first midterm from this course was a 90 DAMMIT!

And you know what, the instructor for these 2 courses are the same , I can't believe she can ask such stupid and unnecessary questions! I want to kick her ass

You, my friend, have not taken College 101. Topic:" How to ace the course". Lesson 1, and that's all there is .To get a good grade in a course, just repeat back what the instructor said in class. There is a saying here in the US. "You can't fight City Hall" I sincerely feel bad for you. You have obviously studied well.

Well I did exactly that! I went over her lecture notes 4-5 times.. I attended most of the classes and I was able answer all her questions! Again while studying with the dudes from my department I was the one finding the solutions to all the problems. Believe me I know my shit and those 2 questions in the midterm were really unnecessary, everyone else taking the course agrees with this.

I just want to get what I deserve for the time I put in. I wouldn't mind at all if she gave me a zero but for this midterm I wasted those 3 days, I would have done the same if I had studied only 2 hours or so

Then go to the teacher and explain what happened as you did here. If I were the teacher, I would understand. But, I don't live in Turkey. So I don't know whether that is an option.

Thanks for the advice fett. I'm going to do that, I'm sure a couple more students are going to do the same also. But I don't think it will change anything

The only thing that's bothering me is the possibility of having these kind of questions in the final exam too, I'd be fucking pissed cause I can't think of a better way to study

Then go to the teacher and state that you are serious about doing well in the class. State that your future depends on this. Don't kiss ass. Just ask what he or she expects. Trust me on this. When the teacher realizes how dedicated you are, it WILL make a difference.
