Gotta love them pooches!! give away unconditional love and only expect some scraps on a bowl and an old tennis ball to play with.

Mine likes to "beat me up", but if I didn't give her that kind of outlet, I guess someone else could be the target. She knows the rules, even if I don't, sometimes.

i lost the greatest dog i could ever have, charlie, to bone cancer on my birthday this past september. i've since posted about bringing a new greyhound home, and we've brought another home a few weeks ago. the house is no longer quiet, that's for sure. they're good dogs, but my god, i still miss my charlie. anyway, here's nico and aslan:

and for the sake of remembrance, this is my sweet girl, charlie, on her last day with us:

thanks cyg; i have to admit that i still can't look at charlie's pix without shedding many a tear. while she'll never be replaced, i at least can bring home other greys who need homes and take care of them, ya know?

That's where the 'ole avatar came from. Too many to save to pass them up.
Her brother, same litter, was adopted at the same time. We really considered taking both, but I'm partial to the females.

You know how I feel. That is just too much.
Sweet Wife saw it, and I may have to get another pup.

But, Duchess is a one-dog-per-family type. She doesn't
like other dogs. Might be a result of being a pound-pup.

This is my wife's shadow... Elliott. He goes wherever she goes.
He's 14 now... pretty much blind and deaf, but he still thinks he's a puppy.
