Yeah, I have already predicted 2009 when we will be intro'd to Nu-Mullett music and style mainstream.

Sorry, man, I missed that somehow, I'm looking for a job in the other browser window haha!

but your right of course. I actually live near Berklee in Boston and also see alot of kids with 80's bands shirts on. They could just be being ironic, but I could see the appeal of Party Hardy Hair Metal as a change from all that serious emo stuff!

Lack of substance killed hair (pop) metal, there were a few decent bands and quite a few great guitar players but for the most part the music sucked. And like everything else nothing seems to last too long, now if rap would just go away.

That's why I refer to myself as an "old metal" fan.
May I quote myself, and someone else....
    Joe Steeler?
Hell, how do I mutli quote, anyways?

The other one was that show was "Heavy:The Story of Metal",
    mentioned in another previous post.

Alot of genres and styles just kind of automatically run the course as being the most popular, I think that was part of it.

Actually hair metal is becoming popular again among young boys, I know that because I watch videos of young boys all the time, wait a sec, that don't sound right. What I mean is alot of the new school 18 - 25 year old bmxers mention in particular Ratt and Motley Crue as stuff they like.

Man that's harsh! Ok you might write a post-grunge song that's as good as, say, Bush...but you're not going to create "Black" or "I Stay Away" that way, mister!

but yes warrant needed better outfits
I just saw a show, over the weekend, on heavy metal, and the singer from Warrant said that if he had to write Cherry Pie of put a gun to his head he would've blown his head!!
The record Co. made them do it and to this day he's still holding a grudge.

    Check it out:

    Random thoughts:
I like saltine crackers with my cheese soup.

My dog is hairy, but he could bite everyone in the world.

Nothing to do + no friends = time, jumble sentences to get EMO/Grunge.

I like my saltine dog, just me and my cheese.

My hairy crackers bite everyone, I feel like eating the world.

    Ooooh, so deep...

Then you have acheived great mystery. Try it! It's hilarious how well it works. You will have 14 year old zitty boys committing suicide over "your deep" lyrics.
