cc isn't a gret player - he has good moments but he's overdone. if he just relaxed a bit and phrased more instead of just playing notes he'd do well. his bluesy side is good i think. poison did over do things bit tho - that was poison they were hated just as much as they were loved.

I'm not sure if you're kidding or not, but I have heard C.C. himself admit that he is not a great player. I do agree however, that Poison is not responsible for killing Hair Metal.

Yes they did, they sucked monkey balls.
I've tried man, I've tried to get into their "music".... they just sucked.

They couldn't hold a dirty jock strap to Ratt, Motley Crue, Bon Jovi, etc.

Seattle grunge... most noteably... Nirvana.... killed hair metal.
The record companies did too because they saw an opportunity to hitch a ride on an entirely new younger audience.
They are still doing it. Its called emo now. All the kiddies love those emo bands.
