My Mummy was 16 when she got preggers with yours truly, The Old King was 19. (Perfectly legal and legit over here)
A dumbass thing to do, as I'm sure they are reminded every time they hear my Jag tearing up their driveway and see me bringing some ironing in to keep the old girl busy.
However, they got married (possibly a shotgun involved somewhere along the line, knowing my mentalist grandad), had 2 more kids after me, and are still happily married to this day. Both worked hard, made something of themselves, got decent jobs and are respected and respectable members of the community. They done good.
(Well, apart from spawning me, of course)
I, on the other hand, am 38 and have no intention of starting a family (well, not one I have to take responsibility for anyway). I fuck anything that moves, or doesn't move fast enough to escape, I adore the more erm, "specialist" kinds of adult pursuits, my friends are appalled/jealous in equal measure at my weekend antics, they are certain I have absolutely no morals. (They are wrong, I do have a couple). I spend my money on ME, I do what I want, when I want to do it. One day I want to sire a son and heir, but as and when, no rush, I'm too busy being greedy and doing things I really shouldn't (sometimes just to be able to say to my mates "You'll never guess what I did last night. Check this video out....!")
Now, who is the most upstanding and responsible person, Me or The Old King?
Accidents happen, maybe the scumbag popped, and that's why Ms Spears 2 is up the duff. Maybe she's simply taking responsibility for her actions and will be a good Mum. She's hardly doing it to get Child Benefit and a Council House, is she?
