I bought my FCB-1010 back in 2002, before Behringer found that the firmware was too stupid to calibrate the pedals properly. I just worked around it and by the time I found out that the firmware was kablooie, which was 2006, I had to buy the ROM chip myself. Whatever you do, make sure that you have the most current firmware for the FCB-1010. I almost went for the Uno chip, but I got a deal on the standard firmware that was hard to pass up ($10.00). I think my version is v2.51, and the one that was in it was v2.10. Anything less than v2.30 has the pedal calibration problem.

(I fall in love with this thing again everytime I play it).
And, I am still shopping for my perfect metal amp. Prolly next year.

Yeah, that sucked but 'it is out of warranty so we can't help you' was the answer. At $10.00, I was not too pissed because at least it now works and it was not me that was the problem (as Behringer was politely hinting). It was the loose nut (programmer) at Behringer.

Nice board though, now that it works.
