I tend to agree but the MB is a complete guitar and it would be a shame to trash it. The new body is just a part and we found a broken neck for it. It was a trip removing the fretboard. I have never done that before.I am a true ass set to this board.

Thanks.I'll have the boy watch it. We have to take some wood off the heel of the neck for proper fit. He thought of using a trem backcover to mount the strummer. This is actually more fun than dicking with a real guitar that will be played. It's a lot easier cleaning up mistakes.

Here's an update on my Guitar Hero Project. Things are coming along quite nicely.
This is the rough fit of the neck with the buttons from the controller and fret board. It needs polishing but I'll do that all at once when the guitar is completed.

Good stuff. Donny S. had talked about doing that at one point a year or two ago.
One of my buddy's has a 13 yr old. They were over visiting last weekend and he had GH II and III as well as something called Rock Band. I actually realized when he was showing me the song lists that I knew how to play a bunch of the songs. Out came a charvie and my practice amp and I played for real while he played the game. I actually beat him on Hanger 18 and Reign in Blood, he gave up! LOL! You know what, by the end of the visit, he had one of my mutts and was getting a guitar lesson for real. Who knows, we may have a retro convert out of it."I''ll say what I'm gonna say, cuz I'm going to Hell anyway!"
