  • Roland Fantom XR or X6?

I currently own a Yamaha PSR530 which has the ability to reduce the touch sensitivity to zero and has a rock drum kit preset which I depend on. If I go for a Roland X6 keyboard, I don't wanna to be stuck with touch sensitivity and lack of the drum kit sound. So, does anyone know if the X6 has both? I've looked on the websites (both UK and USA) and they tell me nothing. If I lose both those things, I'd be going for the XR rack version instead.

You can change the velocity setting to 127 and that will make the sound the pad non-touch sensitive. The Fantom is very configurable to many, many needs and I like mine. I have an X6. It does have some nice drum kits in it.

I've recently been offered an X6 at my local shop for £1k. This includes 4 expansion "SRX" boards, of which I can specify 2 for my needs. Is this a good deal? I've heard they retail for £1600+.

That seems like a good deal. I bought mine for $1495.00.
