Anatolia by the Turkish band Pentagram, aka mezarkabul outside of Turkey. Came out in 1997 through century media IIRC. The music is a hybrid of Thrash and doom with some middle eastern influences, really great and concise songwriting. Try it out! There's some clips from this album and the accompanying live album on u-tube.

One of the most amazing albums ever and other than on the Chris Caffery message board, I've never met another person that has heard of it.
You're going to find that around these parts there are more than a few fans of Savatage and Criss Oliva. I still throw Streets on once in a while, but Hall of the Mountain King is THE Savatage disc for me.
