Didn't their drummer have a go at Saxon's Nigel Glockler and give him a black eye? If so they are in the "Bands I Will Check Out Only After Every Single Boy Band On Earth Has Given Up And Died" File.
SAXON!!!! SAXON!!! SAXON!!!So I woke up,rolled over and who was lying next to me? Only Bonnie Langford!
I nearly broke her back

Hey, I didn't hear that Rsmacker but I checked it out and it's true. It looks like they did the right thing and sacked said drummer however...
Below is boosted from wikipedia...
Firing of Alexei Rodriguez
Following a fight with Saxon drummer Nigel Glockler on November 10, 2007 at the Hard Rock Hell festival in the UK, 3 Inches of Blood fired the drummer Alexei Rodriguez from the band via the internet and issued the apology for his behavior. The fight had left Saxon drummer with broken glasses and a black eye. Four security guards intervened and beat Rodriguez severely. Alexei received a broken elbow and was hospitalized.GTWGITS! - RacerX

Alexei was the mellow one both times I met him...But there is no excuse for that kind of shit. Won't hold it agaist the rest of the band or their music though.

Disincarnate, Dreams of the Carrion Kind (1993, Roadrunner; recently re-released).
I really don't expect this will be to everyone's tastes, but I can't turn it off once I put it on. It's "technical death metal" from early '90s. Unspectacular Death-style vocals, but well thought-out songs with intelligent composition and arrangement. The musicianship is inspiring and James Murphy's playing is on top form.

RE : 3 inches of Blood
No, they can be reinstalled in the "Bands To Be Checked Out Before The New Take That LP" File.
Actually Pandora threw some at me the other week, and it was pretty damned good.
PMSL @ "4 security guards intervened and beat Rodriguez severely." Come on, we all saw Danzig get planted, now let's see the Youtube footage of this incident too, someone must have filmed it!!So I woke up,rolled over and who was lying next to me? Only Bonnie Langford!

it's not new by any means, but "just like honey" by the jesus and mary chain has been something that i've been listening to a lot lately. by no means metal, but if you saw lost in translation, it's the song played at the end. here's a link if interested http://www.sullyville.net/music/JustLikeHoney.mp3
