Warmoth's baritone conversion neck is 24 frets, but it will increase the scale to baritone.
Doesn't Carvin have 24 fret bolt-on necks?I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood

Depends on the body. For a typical Fender body, you need the extension, or the short-scale or baritone conversion necks.
Weren't they supposed to be working on a real 24 fret Jackson-licensed neck? Whatever happened with that?I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood

To my surprise the body I wanna use is for a 24 fret body. I was pretty pissed, had the MM strat neck all bolted up, then decided to measure for the hell of it. Boy was I surprised!
Ill probably pick up one of those Jackson replica necks on the bay... 24 frets, binding for $80. Really wanted a strat head for this one but I guess thats not possible for cheap.Imagine, being able to be magically whisked away to... Delaware. Hi... Im in... Delaware...

It's not just about losing the neck pickup, which I don't care much about. It's just, I don't think the extension's gonna be solid. I mean it could just get broken, if your touch on the guitar's hard.I wish my hair-color was EDS :/

Actually they've got the heel angle close enough to the top of the body (flat, not arched) that it doesn't flex enough to break unless you're a real hamfisted gorilla.
Unfortunately, the 2" overhang not only looks retarded, but is nearly impossible to fret, which makes it utterly useless.I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood

The Warmoth fretboard extension is just a tad over an inch. I agree it looks funny on a normal strat body. But I build a body that is perfect for it. Notice you still have access to the 24th fret due to the contour of the lower horn.
And in case any of you didn't know I'm accepting orders for necks but they are made right here in the good old USA not China. I can't compete with an $80 neck in price but I can garantee a better product
