Ah, I know that glen. There's a nice litte Shebeen in the next valley that serves great Guinness. If you come to Ireland Ron, I'll take you there for a couple of jars.

You're right, of course, you can get postcards like that, but not in Dublin. Connemara is on the Atlantic coast, 150 miles away from here.

I sent a postcard this morning. To my surprise I didn't actually have a choice of pubs, pub doors, or "Guinness is Good for You" signs like this one (the best - and most illogical - advertising campaign ever):



Instead I only had a choice of pages from something similar to the Book of Kells. This one is from the book of Kells:

Actually, it's usually kindergarten at age 5 here, and age 6 is first grade. Preschool here starts at age 3.
