Anybody use one of these? I'm noticing they're getting affordable, but it seems like they only came out a year ago. I know new technology usually drives down the price of old technology, but should these be getting under $1000 USD on a regular basis so soon?
Seems unlikely since the Canon and Sony cameras that still use MiniDV haven't budged (popularity has a lot to do with that, I know).
$1000 for a 3ccd professional-grade 60GB hard drive widescreen-capable camcorder seems a bit underpriced to me.
Not that I'm complaining, mind you, I just don't wanna blow another grand on a camera that sucks.
