  • What animal is associated with your country?

I'm bored so let's do this.

-I live in Canada. We have a few pretty obvious ones.
    Beaver
    Moose
    Canada Goose

-Most folks here are in the US.
    Eagle
(or pig depending on if you are a terrorist :ROTF

    -England
    Lion
    Bulldog

    -Australia
    Kangaroo
    Koala

    -Russia
    Bear

    -Japan
    Crane

    So what about you others?

America is generally the Eagle. At election time can add the donkey and the elephant depending on your loyalties. In Texas we have the armadillo.

            Texas -
            Armadillo
            Horny Toad
Polar Bear (OK, that one's just my favorite. Polar Bears are cool, they should move to Texas)

I must have missed it when Texas became a country.

USA - eagle, deer, bear, squirrels, robins, wolves, raccoons

These are just things I thought I might see if I walked through the woods, not necessarily symbolic animals.

Even though we don't have them here, I think we should dump the eagle for the sloth.
