I gave up on building PCs in 2003 and started concentrating on guitars, so most of my crap is old. Most of my systems are dual P3s.
The last system I built:
2x Xeon 1.6Ghz overclocked to 2.7GHz
1GB DDR ram @ 400 (or 800?)
Asus PC-DL
SCSI 15K Drives.
ATI 8500 (yeah, I need to upgrade).

I used to build my own systems, but it's much less hassle to buy a package system. Mine's an Emachine. It's a 3.3 gig Celeron (yeah, yeah, I know), with 896 meg of ram, a 500 gig HD, a 150 gig HD, and an LG double density litescribe DVD burner. As for the sound and video, I haven't a clue. They work pretty well though.Hail yesterday

Mine's custom made. 11 USB slots, DVDRW, 5.1 surround (no speakers tho), 1GB RAM, fuck-knows-what processor. Motherboard by "Abit". Other than that, if it goes tits up, I send in my Dad. Its fucking noisy compared to that desktop Dell that crapped out.Last edited by wilkinsi; 01-31-2008, 10:07 PM.Fuck ebay, fuck paypal

I work with 3DS max so this isn't your average system. I'll be ordering another one soon since this one is about 3 years old. It's time to go 64bit with 4 or 8 cores and at least triple the RAM.
Boxx Tech. 3DBoxx-7208 workstation
Dual Opteron 248's (2.20 GHz)
2GB of RAM
nVidia Quadro 3000
3x250GB,1x300GB, and 1x750GB hard drives
LG Super Multi external DVD writer
Audigy 2 ZS
Logitech 5.1
Dual Viewsonic VP912b LCD's
Wacom Intous2 9x12
I'd have to do some digging to get more specific.
