Not sure. I used to be up on this stuff, but it got boring. I don't use my computer for much else than surfing these days. I used to build my own systems, but it's much less hassle to buy a package system. Mine's an Emachine. It's a 3.3 gig Celeron (yeah, yeah, I know), with 896 meg of ram, a 500 gig HD, a 150 gig HD, and an LG double density litescribe DVD burner. As for the sound and video, I haven't a clue. They work pretty well though.

I'm pretty much the same. Although, because I'm a tight-ass, I'm still inclined to buy bits to replace stuff as it breaks on my pc. So last year (or the year before? I forget....) I bought a new MB, new ram, video & sound. Last week I picked up a 500MB ext. drive to free up some space on my internal drives. Can't recall the specs of any of it though

Mine's custom made. 11 USB slots, DVDRW, 5.1 surround (no speakers tho), 1GB RAM, fuck-knows-what processor. Motherboard by "Abit". Other than that, if it goes tits up, I send in my Dad. Its fucking noisy compared to that desktop Dell that crapped out.

I work with 3DS max so this isn't your average system. I'll be ordering another one soon since this one is about 3 years old. It's time to go 64bit with 4 or 8 cores and at least triple the RAM.
