Their polocies suck at american musical. I returned a guitar because the pickup was inside the guitar ( I did fix it though). They said I needed to pay for return shipping unless I wanted to be hit with a restocking fee if they decided there was any damage that I caused. I was told that since they sell so many cheap guitars, that they could not afford to have everyone that wasn't happy with their purchase return them on their dime.
FYI to squier use longer screws when you use an invader pickup.

I was waay more of a dick to MF recently when they canceled my clearance order. I still am able to buy there.
I suppose they have to have inventory control, but good grief, they're the ones messing up. I've had good experiences with AMS and was planning on doing more biz with them for a possible guitar purchase since they have the payment plan and pretty much the same product lines as MF..but now, I'm not so sure.


You buy something, you have 45 days. So now what, you wait for the right one? or do a chargeback. Or have they revoked the right to your 45 day terms since they banned you?

I can see them sending out the wrong item more than once. Some people don't have the cognitive skills to realize that if model number A is 55512M that it would be different than model number B which is 55512R. The shipping department where I work regularly send out the wrong stuff because they were a digit off on the model number. That aside the error is shipping in no way grants you the right to be an ass. We have requested customers go elsewhere to make their purchases even when we have made errors in shipping. We made that request after they became totally unreasonable asses. So your story though very one sided still sounds very familiar.
