Great to see you back posting, Em! I caught up on some of your new music last night. Great as ever, and it's cool to hear that you've got a band.

i've been going in a new direction, a little more world/gypsy/funk... them gyspy scales are fun to play.
the band... the Keith is on keys, which is freakin' awesome. i have been trying to get him to play with me for years (heh, no pun intended). don't know if you guys knew he's a classically trained pianist. he finally has time to play now, i love listening to him play.
found a phenomenal drummer who has become a good buddy too, we're having a lot of fun. doing covers and originals both, messing around right now and getting our act together. Keith wants to do "Freeze Frame" and we're covering Britney Spears "Baby One More Time" only punked out. i have the skirt and everything.

Here's mine. Patience the 3 legged cat, aka Chupa Da Girl (Don't ask, pet owners know what I'm talking about) You can't see that she's 3 legged in the pic but her right back leg is gone. She got trapped in a fence for a few days and chewed her paw off. Then started on the upper part of the leg and got down to the muscle. Animal Control found her and put her up for addoption after the amputation. I got her and love her to death.

I had another but he had to be put to sleep recently. She came home with Feline Leukemia. The shelter didn't test for that. So she had it and we didn't know. My fault for not taking her to my vet for testing. She gave it to my other cat and it killed him. She still has it and could go anytime, I suppose. The nature of the disease, I guess. Sucks but what can you do? She is healthy now and that's all that matters...

So we have only this one. That's all we'll have until... Well... You know...

Yeah, my Zorycat is freakin' INSANE, mean like Chance. she cases the joint like she's on border patrol, she's completely unmanageable and a total bitch. but i love her.
she'll occaisonally jump on my lap for two seconds, or ask me to hold her (she likes to perch on my shoulder), then she'll bite me and jump off.
