Bad News Today/My Grandfather Just Passed Away

Celebrate his contributions!
We lost my Father in law in a similar way, diabetes complications.
Although he wasn't able to join the troops in WW2, he contributed greatly
engineering projects with Kodak and Baucsh and Lomb. It was only after
very many conversations that I figured out he was a great contributor to the
bombsights used so much in Italy, Germany, and Japan. I think now he somehow felt guilty in a way. The accomplishment made victory possible, but at the cost of much life and property. My wife and I assured him so many times that we understood, and that his inventions made it possible to spare unecessary loss, but who knows?
