  • Anyone imported goods into the US?

    I've been told that if US made product is exported and then sold back to a buyer in the US, it doesn't incur any import taxes when it re-enters the states - any one know for sure if this is true?

    Probably depends on the item. Liquor and food I believe are the main ones that incur taxes, but neither of my 2 NASLs I bought from Japan cost me a cent in import taxes.

          Right - I know I sent a Pro series Phil Collen to the US and the buyer did have to pay duty, so maybe that's a hit-and-miss deal. It's really US stuff returning to the states that I'd like to find out about...
