I've been told that if US made product is exported and then sold back to a buyer in the US, it doesn't incur any import taxes when it re-enters the states - any one know for sure if this is true?

Probably depends on the item. Liquor and food I believe are the main ones that incur taxes, but neither of my 2 NASLs I bought from Japan cost me a cent in import taxes.I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood

Right - I know I sent a Pro series Phil Collen to the US and the buyer did have to pay duty, so maybe that's a hit-and-miss deal. It's really US stuff returning to the states that I'd like to find out about...Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get
