any album by Slayer.... can't stand 'em
any Ozzy solo album... I don't care who plays the guitar... the songs just suck in my book... the only thing I like with that pussy whipped douche are the old Sabbath albums

I've lived with this for some time. When I was at school and I first got into rock music, I started out with Destroyer, Ace Of Spades, Killers, Unleashed In The East etc. I heard the Immigrant Song on the Friday Rock Show and spent all of my paper round money the next day on Led Zep 3 (which was 9 times more expensive than normal albums because of the movable, boring flowery disc thing on the album cover). Well the Immigrant Song lasted 2:25 minutes...then...they are wank...
Hallefrickin'lullah! A fellow Brit who can't stand Led Zep. Thank fuck. I thought I might have been the only one.
It's FOLK music, people! They're singing songs about hedgerows! Jeez...

Def Leppard - Pyromania (and everything else they did)

What a sappy bunch of garbage. And they did it with the cheesiest of all guitar tones in (pseudo) hard rock history. Sadly, there really are no words to adequately describe how lame their albums are.

Carcass - Heartwork.. often regarded as one of the best death/grind albums ever. I don't hate it, but I think Necroticism is a much more solid album.
Are You Experienced- I prefer Axis, maybe just because it has the Hendrix songs you don't hear every hour on classic rock stations.
AC/DC - Back in Black, again like Are You Experienced, could be because I'm just really sick of hearing all the songs on the album

I'm in agreeance on MOP. I like the other 3 80's albums better with RTL being my favourite. MOP is kind of a rehash of RTL to me...... just not as good

I'll add the mighty VH's 1984. The mistake I made was buying Vh1 before the other albums. There was no fucking way they could top that

add an American. JPJ and Bonham were the true musicians and get no credit. Page was a sloppy drunk that played like a sloppy drunk and Plant was just average. IMO of course.

Actually, I don't think Rush ever got such great reviews (along with most of the 70s prog-rockers), most critics didn't get them.

I agree with the first post though about Megadeth - I was a fan already and was ecstatic about Marty joining. Then the first song is Holy Wars.... Hangar 18 is ok, but the rest of the album just did nothing for me, haven't listened to it in years. Luckily they made up for it on the next one - CTE is still my favorite from them.

I'm sorry but Appetite kicks ass! I listened to it a couple months ago for the first time in years, and listened to the whole thing (except Sweet Child -lol). Although, it is the only Gn'R album is have, they lost me with Use Your Illusion I and II, and Axl's ego.

Actually, my favorite artists' most acclaimed albums are my favorites by them:
Rush - Moving Pictures and 2112
                            Zep - IV
                            VH - I
                            AIC - Dirt
                            Metallica - MoP
                            Yngwie - Rising Force
                            Satch - Surfing
                            Unleash the fury.....Texas style!
