Oh yeah, Cedar Point is a must. I live closer to Kings Island but Cedar Point has the most roller coasters of any park in the world. The last time I was up there was when they opened up that Top Fuel Dragster ride, holy crap that ride is awesome.

Me and the girlfriend have been to Cedar Point 3 times and it is hands down the best amusement park in the country. That Top Fuel Dragster is insane. 0 to 120mph in 4 seconds and over 400 feet. Only drawback is the ride is over in like 14 seconds and if you don't get there early there can be a long wait for it. Rock & Roll Hall of Fame was BIG disapointment, I think there was more to see at the Hard Rock Cafe.

The AF museum is really something that takes over a day to see, especially if you stop to read even just a few of the plaques on the displays. And you'll want to budget time not only for an IMAX film but also for the little side jaunt to the annex where they have several of the X planes and a few of the presidential aircraft. The one potential downer to going on a Sunday in the summer is the crowds.
The Columbus area probably wouldn't offer too much excitement beyond pawn shops and local music so maybe Cleveland and Dayton might make it a pretty full weekend for you.Takeoffs are optional but landings are mandatory.
