I do agree that the activity in question should be kept in the Platinum Lounge area and not the General Discussion area.

I'm sure that if enough of the Platinum members got tired of it, the offending member would get his/her ass voted out.

Yes the body is in process of the giveaway. I did that because I felt those guys paid and basically needed to get something for their money.

But I do think that if you start a "farewell" thread, you should get your ass banned no questions asked, no votes needed.

FWIW this Fett issue is a different animal all together. Sully and I discussed old policy last night. The minute that "Farewell" post went up he should have been locked out.

Farewell posts stir the pot. If this is a place that is so bad you need to do that, just go .. The issue wasn't so much the Platinum area from my pov.

Yes you guys paid, yes you get that entitlement .. I didn't agree with the policy for that one reason but yes ..you have to vote each other out .. this stuff was more a product of the Non J/C forum and not that area.. he was dragging it in there

It's time for me to reply. First. Thanks. I mistitled my original thread. My intent was made clear later. I was not going to post anymore. That's all. I joined the PL to support the Board, in general. To think that I was going to duck in there to avoid being "Caught posting BS" on the General Board and being Banned is just plain wrong.

I dont have any problems with fett, and do enjoy his posts most of the time... though, I really dont think he had 100% intentions of buying the membership just so he couldnt be banned.

I'll agree with that, fett is actually quite harmless IMO, and he writes the craziest shit i've ever seen LOL! I really enjoy most of his adventures, and I think fett having his own thread is the best idea, be it in the platinum area or non JCF section. That way those of us who like to read his misadventures and those who don't have a choice. I enjoy the laughter.
If this area needs to be more of a serious area, then make it more of a serious area, I follow direction fairly well.

The Platinum thing for me was a thank you to you guys who run this thing, for me i've learned quite a few things about the axes I really dig and i've meet some really cool people here, well worth the cabbage spent.

Kev, I know you personally have nothing to do with the platinum stuff... we HAVE brought it up, many times... only to either be ignored or finally told its on its way, but never to see anything of it.
