I'm making popcorn and watching The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I watched the re-make last week with Lee Ermy..it's OK..But nothing like the original. I love TTCM!!! Funny, I watched the re-make of Willard too..Lee Ermy was in that as well.

Do you know what I thought was a cool movie. "Let Me In". I guess that was a remake too. But I don't think I seen the original. But I really liked the story..pretty cool IMO!

what's with the fuggin' remakes..every damn movie is a damn remake. No original ideas I guess..and when it is original..it's lame.

Hey brother Bill, here I am! I finally got my disability too after an extended hospital stay! They REALLY wanted to make sure I wasn't kidding - bastages! I DID get a nice hefty shot of morphine on my way in - it wasn't a heart attack but it felt that way! The morphine gave a good buzz but it didn't really kill the pain - just made me not mind! I'm living about 70 miles inland from the Coast with a friend right now, plan to move back to the coast when I can. BTW, Weed IS legal in Cali if you are disabled, costs like $130 a year for your pot permit but they have dispensaries all over town! I have a friend in Michigan who is on the same setup, him and his wife both. Of course the Feds don't recognize that but they don't fuck with it too much either. You need that in Ohio - it'll make it Ohigho! Good to see you, man, I figured you had a lot on your plate, the boy growing up alone has to be a challenge!

Got any recommendations in the genre of thrash outside of the ordinary? Im getting bored with all my CDs lately, I want some new riffage. Its gotta have aggressive vocals though. As much as I love CFH, that high pitched 80s voice Phil used on that album bugs my like hell to an extent. Something more Hetfield, Araya, Lemmy, well you get where Im going here. Whatcha got Billz?

Just listen to Reign in Blood and make believe it just came out and that Slayer is the newest hottest thing to come around since the thrash scene began. Or......record yourself playing heavily distorted down tuned guitar to something like ABBA and add yer own vocals. Then you would have something new. I do that. I got so bored without nothing new I liked that I got into the Black Veil Brides, Murderdolls and Wednesday 13's solo stuff. Does this make me feel like a stupid young Emo kid? No. It shows me that I really know how to play guitar after all the years of self doubt I had about my playing. I like these bands though. Does take me back to when I was a 14 year old punk and buying Shout at the Devil on vinyl of all things. Then I traded that for Kill Em All and it was over. A vivid imagination is a good thing to have.
