Let me ask you..do you guys trust my metal taste and recomendations? These days "metal" is about the only thing that brings me joy. Its all I do.

I want to share this joy. I will only recomend the very best. Tell me what you like if you're interested and I will respond. It will most likely be an item you may have to get from Ebay if it is (OOP) Out Of Print. The good thing is since metal made a huge comeback, and it is not a trend..More and more obscure 80's and 90's stuff is being re-issued, remastered with bonus material. So now is the best time in my 30 years of buying metal..trust me on that one.

Never have I been overwhelmed at how much metal is out there ..I constaly make lists of stuff I'm wanting to catch up on..alot of them..are these re-issues. Take advatange of the re-issues now. Alot of the releases went on Ebay for hundreds of dollars..bands from Black and Blue..to Loudness to Atheist..all re-issued with bonus material at regular cd prices. I thought I'd never see the day..but that day is here and now..

Later..I will elaborate on the band Sabbat..where Andy Sneap came from. It seems everthing he touched rurns to gold..that man can do no wrong in my book. Ironically, I hated the trend of Rap Metal..and the best Rap Metal in the fuggin' world went comepletly under the radar. Stuck Mojo..I am not a fan because I do not connect with that rapping vocal style, in fact it grates on my nerves and gives me a rash. But Stuck Mojo caught my attention because of the production of Andy Sneap and the guitars and drums sounded truly amazing..why this band went unnoticed during Limp Bizkit's popularity is beyond me. They were the best at what they did. But people love tyhings that suck..the more it sucks, the more popular it becomes..because people are retards.

So in honor of Andy Sneap..I will pick Sabbat as today's "Hardifact".. more on that later.

Curran Murphy is recording with my freinds and he knows his stuff..he just sent me a sample of things they just recorded last week..as good as it is..it's not Sneap. Neil Kernon is also working with them as well..but as good as it is..it's not Andy Sneap. There is other guys that rule for metal..Dan Swano (Our Anders Coldworker stuff), Peter Tagtgren..even Andy LaRoque is cool..but Andy Sneap is the man!!!

Sabbat rules..their music has stood the test of time. He remastered Dreaweaver and A History of a time to come..and did them justice. Most metal bands coming out these days can't write like that. No matter how good a new metal band is..most don't stand up to the heavy hitters..

Wages of Sin..Dead Heart in a Dead World..that is the sounds of metal perfection..IMO!!

Anders worked with Swano? Cool. Peter Tagtgren is also good, I think Fredrick Nordstrom was the defining producer for that day and age, as Andy Sneap is for this one. Billz, what do you think of Steve Wilson? I knew about him from his work with Opeth and I'm just getting into the latest Porcupine Tree. All those layers sound pretty cool IMO.
