Bill's right. You will NEVER be able to find a dog that could replace Lambert. every dog is different and has their own personality traits that make them who they are and you'll get used to it then they will become family. That's what has happened with my new dog. And yes a new dog really does help get over the pain of losing your old dog.

What I find is that people will get a new dog but worry that they will forget their old one so they don't. I'll never forget my old dog. She was the best but my new dog fills a hole that she left behind. Our house was just too quiet without a dog.
