Das Rite..Tides..Aunt Flow..Aunt Flow's tides..gravitations pull of earth to keep it on its axis..the axis of evil....chihuahuas.. evil sumbitches. Emmy 8 hours?? Good for you...that's a long time. Its cool to have a good sound that inpires you to play. I remember when I played guitar that long..I was "faster" back then, but I think I'm better these days. Vinny said my Marshall sounds more "brutal" with the drums than my Uberschall. By themselves you'd never think so..but with the drums the heavy "chuggin' stuff actually cuts thru better with an edge only fuggin' Marshalls have..I don't give a fuck ..its true. Hey, works for me. We jammed for a while yesterday..after his homework.
BTW I seen Batman the other day. My lil' bro had free tix and that movie was pretty fuggin' good. I gotta admit I didn't know shit about that Heath Ledger dude..I never saw that gay cowboy movie or anything he did. He carried this fuggin' movie! He made a hilarious "Joker"..I really liked his character ..he put a spin cool spin on it. I'm not even into like Batman. I seen all the Batman shit while my kid was a baby..and the ones before that. But it was pretty good...because of the Joker honestly. Oh, I didn't realize that was Gary Oldman as comissioner Gordon until towards the end of the movie. I shouted "That's fuggin' Dracula!!!" really loud..which actually got some laughs. I saw "Journey to the center of the earth". I liked it because it was in really cool 3D and I was high..
I got some movies for tonight too. I have a bootleg copy of Hancock and I got Van Wilder "The rise of Taj" from the library. Val's making Chili because I'm broke to eat out and its too fuggin' hot to go out or cook in the house. Nope, we don't have a fuggin' propane grill..I'm afraid of those things..they can blow up your entire family. Hambugers are not worth that. I don't like cookouts, they're overrated..mosquitos, sweating my balls off..for what a hotdog..fuck that!
Well, I'll see ya later..Tommy you behave a little bit. Emmy and Rich already behaves. ..I guess I'll behave too...maybe."Bill, Smoke a Bowl and Crank Van Halen I, Life is better when I do that"
Donnie Swanstrom 01/25/06..miss ya!
"Well, your friend would have Bell's Palsy, which is a facial paralysis, not "Balls Pelsy" like we're joking about here." Toejam's attempt at sensitivity.

yep - played with that pod for 8 hours! okay, well a lot of that was just figuring the damn thing out. that manual... whoah.
it's written hilariously, btw. whoever wrote that is a real card.
i'm used to reading extremely dry and boring gear manuals, so this one has me busting up.
anyway - after about 3 hours of just messing with knobs and shit, and figuring out what does what, and wondering why that tap button blinks at me constantly... then i got in some good play time. went online too to see about that software and check out the tone banks. woooo!
recorded some stuff today... niiiice. just foolin' around.
it's too much fun, it ain't right!
BillZ - i hear ya on the Marshall cutting through better than the Uber. yep.
by itself the Marshall might sound a bit thin, but you get that kick in there especially, and some sweet toms to fill it all up. oh so nice. yum.
Batman - i can't wait to see this new one.
rock - i'm off to noodle some more. it's actually hot up here in the mountains today (normally we don't see temps much above about 83F) but today's a doozy!
hugs for you Tommy. been thinkin' about ya.

yup, I'm still in shambles and this will be my last post for a while. a long while.
I'd like to thank each one of you. You're all exceptional in your own ways. I'll miss you very very much as I am gonna be gone for a long time my friends. Hang tough, I am, and I will be alright because i'm doing something right for the first time. When i return, i just may surprise the snot out of you- take it easy. real easy and don't waste a second of the beautiful summer. don't say it's too hot outside, or it's too muggy, let the sun hit your face and make you smile. I'll be back, just not soon.
thankyou for your super coolness, if you think this board is wasting your time , it's not, theirs all kinds of friends here. See ya later and thanks again. my phone will probably be on for a few more days, and then i'm gone. I'll try and check in as soon as is humanly possible.
Your friend till the end,
TommyNot helping the situation since 1965!

I watched Candy last night. About a junky and his girl. He got her into the stuff and now he's trying to clean up to do the right thing by her, but she's getting deeper into it. Ledger is brilliant. Geoffrey Rush has a supporting role.
Two Hands is good too. Don't know if it was ever released in the US. Heath is a small time thug in Kings Cross (in Sydney) who wants to move up in the world and join the local crime boss's crew. He screws up his first job making a delivery, costing the boss (Bryan Brown, remember him from Cocktail?) a bunch of money, and is on the run for the rest of the movie.Hail yesterday
