So Bill, did you check out the new Into Eternity yet? Been rocking out to it in my truck for a few days. Very different from The Scattering of Ashes, which I think is just as good, if not better than Buried in Oblivion.
Incurable Tragedy's strengths are definitely in the guitar playing, Tim Roth sounds much better. The older stuff always seemed to me like he was playing beyond his capabilities, some of the leads sounded kind of sloppy. Much cleaner now. The main thing I don't like about it is Stu Block doing way more falsetto type vocals. That and the songs don't seem as cohesive as they did on Ashes. It is a concept album, so some of the songs are less than a minute, which bugs me, but there is some very cool acoustic parts. All in all a good buy, but it just seems to be lacking something. Worth a listen, though.
