watched "Strange Wilderness" last night. That is some fucked up fun there. You know how usually in a movie full of idiots, at least the main dude kind of has his shit together enough to keep everything moving along and the humour is derived from his dopey mates or the unfortunate circumstances that befall our unlucky protagonist? Not in this film! They're all as fucked up as each other.

Not a great picture but some serious laugh-out-loud moments.

Ahhh Gary, "Strange Wilderness". Yeah, we actually rented that a couple weeks ago. Ehhhhhhhh It was OK. It has its moments. Not good enough to tape actually. We still copy rented DVDs onto VHS if we actually like the movie it's it's not copy protected.

We did rent Kevin Smith's "Zack and Miri make a porno"..Very funny, we all laughed our asses off really. It was kinda cool to see some Apatow's and Smith's camp combined in this movie. Seth Rogan, Elizabeth Banks, Jason Mewes, Jeff Anderson, and even Traci Lords. It looked like some of it was filmed in Cleveland, same kinda weather..but it was Pittsburg PA..same difference. I watched all the extras too, which came on another disc. Great stuff!! We taped it..but this one I'll buy whenever I find a used copy. I still gotta buy "Superbad". But I watched that copy on tape many times, so there's no hurry.

Ron you live near where the shot Clerks 2, at "Moobys" and never saw the movie..dude, why not? That movie is great IMO!!! You gotta!

Billz , Wasn't "the rocker" filmed in the Cleveland area? Christina Applegate still has the SPOIP factor!

Pineapple express was pretty funny, I may try to hunt down "Zack and Mira" as I generally like comedies. On a side note don't waste your time watching "disaster movie" it sucked.

Bill, I agree with you on Strange Wilderness. There were some really good moments in it, but it's not one that I'll be buying.

Zack & Miri has only just come out at the movies here, so I'm still looking to see it at the cinema. I don't know why they delayed the release over here, but I'm always looking forward to a Kevin Smith film.

I've hated most of the "movie" movies I've seen & have purposely avoided most of them. Although Superhero Movie was actually pretty good (my daughter insisted we hire that one, and this time she was right!)

Really Gary..That movie is just going to be showing there? Hmm it may have something to do with Kevin' Smith's appeal to the MPAA trying to get a R rating instead of NC-17. Because of two scenes..I won't spoil those for you, but he did win the appeal and got the "R" rating. Just something I learned watching the bonus features.

It was really cool because I love Judd Apatow and Kevin Smith movies and this was kind of both rolled into one. It was kinda like The 40 year old Virgin meets Clerks 2.

have you guys checked out My Name is Bruce? Schlocky B-grade horror/comedy starring Bruce Campbell (as himself) & directed by Bruce Campbell. I watched it on the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Although it was made by Irish playwright and theater director, it was interesting that the most dominant thing was Scandinavian type (particulary Danish) dark humor, kinda similar to what Anders Thomas Jensen does, who is in my opinion the best screenwriter and director right now... he has the ability to show things, which normally would piss everyone off, in a funny way so you feel fucking confused.
I'd recommend everything he has done if you don't mind subtitles.

Fuck yeah G, seen that recently after a long wait. Love the chin! My fave bit was his reaction to the mother throwing out a figurine of him 'hey!! thats a collectible!'. Over the top hammy and cheesey, just how I like 'em! You ever seen 'Man with the screaming brain'? Thats awesome too!

I watched "Smiley Face" that way a few weeks ago..that movie was pretty silly.

Another movie my wife won't like ..she didn't like the evil dead trilogy. But yet watches movies about moms fighting to get their crack babies back from human services. Such Sally Fields in "Give me my crack baby back!".. BTW Sally Fields takes boneva once a year. I would give her the bone at least 6 times a year..she looks pretty good for a senoir citizen..

She also won't watch movies with subtitles. My response to her is "Well, The Godfather has subtitles"..

We watched "Role Models" It started off hilarious but halfway through the movie it just got kinda lame...then lamer. Eh.."Zack and Miri make a porno" was MUCH better!!

Today, I gotta help my kid draw a poster of Les Paul's 1939-1941 "The log" guitar for his science fair invention muthafugga. Another cocksuckin' report. WTF!!

I watched Watchmen a couple of nights ago. Hay-zooos, that was a good'un! Flawed superheroes, Graphic violence, Steamy superhero sex. What more could you want?
