Endrik, thanks for posting. Those pictures take me back. When I was a kid we would go sailing along the west coast of Sweden for three weeks every summer. Man, I haven't been there in 15 years. My favorite place was the Koster islands up by Strömstad.

Endrik, thanks for posting. Those pictures take me back. When I was a kid we would go sailing along the west coast of Sweden for three weeks every summer. Man, I haven't been there in 15 years. My favorite place was the Koster islands up by Strömstad.

Yeah, it's a great place for sailing, even though I'm more familiar with Eastern coast specially Stockholm archipelago, I love the West Coast more. A lot of sailors there were from Denmark, Norway and even Spain, France and Germany.
I think you can see Koster islands on the 4th picture. But Strömstad these days is not that appealing, too overcrowded, too much tourists, and too much cheese factor.
