It is Christmas in October. Well October is always "christmas" for me..and my kid's 17th birthday is this month. Wow, he was fuggin' 6 when I joined this forum. He learned to play drums, guitar, bass, keys, very well since. In that aspect I'm proud but as Rich said he is 100% me..Sriously, it is funny how it takes me back to where I was. That's a double edged dong!

I didn't forget SARJ man. Trying to find the time to dedicate some my social coolness here. I've been fuggin' with people on other shit.. havin' fun..but it's still kinda hit N run...

OK SARJ..I asked Vinny about Black Veil Brides and because I'm not familair with alot of new stuff in this style to be honest. He doesn't care for 'em too much..says they're OK, That's Nikki Sixx's kid. He said Bullet for my Valentine would be the most obvious choice. Then he told me a band that is popular now..I think THREE DAYS GRACE. If you don't know them already. He said you'll prolly like the style/riffage. Vinny and his friends like HIM. So I turned him onto Sentenced, Rapture, and he loves Poisonblack. Poinsonblack is just a continuum of Senetenced. Great stuff. I really like 'em!! He learned alot of that kinda stuff but he loves PB riffs. Of course he likes COB-ish bands too like Blackgaurd. They have that sweet girl drummer that's been covering alot of cool shit on youtube for years. She's fuggin' NICE!! Fuggin' Joe wants to eat her fartbox..after I did. I'd have three scoops down there.

BUT..here is WHY it feels like Christmas for me today. UPS dropped of my CM Distro order 20 fuggin' cds I've been wanting so much..so that's what I'm doing today. Taking my meds and relax with my new metal!! BTW I heard about your rough times..with meds, and shit. Dude, all I can say is..I know. Thinks have beens really sucking balls for me and mine for a while. Why I haven't been here and still needed. But things are way better for now...so I'll take it!! OK..here comes metal. I will report what I have later. I had to catch up on my last two Jorn Lande discs. Spirit Black/Loney Are The Brave. That god's voice RULES!! Tore Moren has that "ripping" raw, dry Marshall JMP-1 guitar tone. I know JMP-1..and that's exactly what it sounds like. Nothing else on earth has THAT sound! Tonemonster has it too!!

I'll post clips of his tone. He records everything for over 10 years with it. It sounds more consistant than any other player out there..me thinks. Like me, he prolly never touched his settings..no need!

I'm going to watch The Hills Have Eyes. I never seen it. Most comments think it's scary on IMB. Looking for cool newer horror movies to watch. Any suggestions. Please, Scare me and my family.. They think ALL my favorite classic horror staples are old and boring.. blasphemy!!

Yes kinda!! I love it..Snoogs what a gem of a stumble. To think I didn't stumple upon them in the last 10 years is fuggin' crazy. They put a lot of time, money and vision in their music and videos. It's sooooo fucked up because I shop at the End records..their label. Yes, I've seen their dumb sounding name..and because of that never gave them a listen.
I would think the End would have put them on one of their sampler discs..:think:

This is how you find metal..you look and you find. It's not given to you so readily. But much like STGM, The End does focus on "avant garde" metal. They're definiitely inspired by Norway's Arcturus, Winds, Unexpect, and Hammers of Misfortune!!! Snoogs or anyone like myself thatfound this very cool should investigate those bands as well. Even Emperror's Ihshan solo stuff and with his wife in Peccatum, and Hardingrock too. I love all those bands as well. Therion definitely comes to mind too..I'd start with Gothic Kabbalah..amazing stuff IMO! In fact it became a holiday tradition at my house. Most people watch a TSO DVD..the wife and I watch Therion's Kabbalah live DVD. It is a great experience on a nice TV/sound system..

Snoogs you also mentioned Devin SYL..man, there is ALOT of his own stuff he put on. It's very hit or miss with me...but there is a lot to choose from.

Dude, I spent over an hour talking with a wonderful, beauty of a girl today. It was exactly what I needed. We just couldn't stop talking...I mean it was just fuggin' great. Face to face..eye to eye...eyes to other tings..nice!

I loved it, so did Vinny...Val..not so much. But she doesn't like anything. She watches Joy Beyher and Nancy Grace..go figure. She got sooooo mad because I told her I'd love to knock up Casey Anthony, and father that Golden Child! I would be a loving dad hero, bigger than Elvis and Jesus!!
