Travelling to Rhode Island this summer..

I'll be visiting family in Rhode Island this summer, the first week of August. I'll probably be catching a baseball game and doing touristy things. Can anyone recommend any cool things to do in the area while we are there?

One of my hobbies is photography so any good photo location ideas would be cool.

I was also wondering if anyone knows of any good (ie carry stock on Charvel/Jackson guitars) music stores in the area I could check out. (Is Matt's within driving range?)

What area are you going to be in? I'm not sure how far away Matt's is but if you are driving down you could probably hit it on the way down or back up. As for photography I think a day trip down to Newport would be good. There are a lot of mansions that the industry millionaires built back in the early 1900's or maybe earlier I think. Honestly man I don't think there is a lot to do here
