well, the straps buttons on my three jacksons are so big that its hard to even get the straps onto them. I dont think the strap will ever slip out.

I prefer nylon, easier to swing around your neck Specifically dimarzio straplocks on all my stage guitars.

that's a nice idea. on the other hand, if you ever have a guitar which is neck-heavy, it would suck to have nylon straps. In my case, no matter how heavy the neck be, I can keep the guitar positioned the way I want.
