  • Adware help

I'm pretty fluent with computers, but I have this pesky ad that keeps coming up. I've tried to hit it with ad-aware, cleaning the .pf's, using hijackthis, and cleaning the reg/msconfig... any suggestions?

I've found the fix for every problem here. Lots of good info, just be sure you find what is actually troubling your pc and it will save you lots of time and stress. By this I mean read well through to pin point what is really going on.

The freeware and shareware proggies are OK for most pests. If the problem persists, LMK. Pretty sure I can point you towards a software fix that won't break the bank.

Sorry, I just hijacked my own thread. I just ran Spybot and about to do a restart.

            Wish me luck.

This is the one I use when I run into some pesky software.

Detect and fix viruses, worms, spyware, and other malicious threats for free.

I like the looks of that multiple software in one package SlasZ suggested.
