People are just trying to give you some good advice, man. It doesn't help you to have the neighborhood cop on your ass, especially if you barhop and then drive. Yeah, I've done it, and I've got the DUI to show for it too.
I value the advice but Dons comment was unnecessary. My anger is singularly extended towards him.

On the topic of drunk driving, ill repeat that noone was driving drunk. My friend jeff met us at the bar after getting off work (he works 2nd shift at a local auto manufacturer). We picked up some beer and headed back to my place. I couldnt drive drunk any more than i could drive sober, which is to say, i dont even have a license. Suffice it to say, i was in an accident involving a driver who later tested positive for a certain IV drug (not me) and saw the results, i promptly decided that i did not wish to drive again any time soon and surrendered my license for a state ID.

So you got a ticket cos you took a piss outside and you were being a smartass to a cop. What'd you expect? A medal? Deal with it. Pay the fine and learn to piss inside.

Yeah, I've done it, and I've got the DUI to show for it too. You may not feel you're drunk, but you only have to exceed the legal limit to get busted for it. Even if you're under the limit he can still cite you and force you to go to trial.

If this cop tells the judge you were acting erratically, and failed a field sobriety test of walking straight, touching your nose, etc.... a judge can find you guilty even if you didn't exceed the legal limit. If it's your word against his, he can fuck you hard. You don't really want to go there.

It's worth trying to make a truce with the guy even if you feel you're in the right. He thinks he's right too, in looking at you as a troublemaker. And he has an edge in being able to cause trouble for you. It's not worth all that to have a pissing contest (pun intended) with the guy. You will lose, your friends will lose when cops start pulling over anyone leaving your house, or pulling you over every time you leave a bar.

Gee its a shame i wasnt there to welcome you.....

I was trying to keep it civil buck fuck it youre just being rude now. You act like noones EVER been drunk before. When youre drunk you do stupid shit. Case fucking closed. I had to piss. My house was about 150 feet up the hill. There was a tree 10 feet away. Rather than risk pissing myself (which, if youve ever gotten drunk before, you know is a possibility) I decided the tree would do just fine. Dont be so self-righteous.

Airjamie, it sounds like you get along well with most of the neighbors and have a pretty level head when you're not partying. You've made a pretty good case in your posts after the 1st one. Maybe you should get together with the police officer & tell him you realize you've screwed up a few times, and want to start fresh with him if it's possible. Tell him you'll let your neighbors know when you plan to have people over & that they're encouraged to let you know if you're disturbing them so you can try to keep the police from having to be called. Let him know that you're not some punk, that you like & respect your neighbors, that you participate in the neighborhood watch, etc. Maybe it'll work, maybe he'll always have it in for you, but it couldn't hurt to try to make a fresh start & let him get to know you in a situation where he's not writing you a ticket or cracking down on you.

    That it does

Airjamie, my apologies. My own, "neighbor situation", has me a little high strung

How annoyed are you when 5-0 comes and breaks up one of your parties? Well, you're neighbors are just as annoyed that they have to even call the cops in the first place because you've interrupted their evening. The limit is when you're "right to party" interferes with your neighbors "right NOT to party".

Being belligerent on top of that just pisses off your neighbors even more. Im gonna guess that part of the reason that cop gives you a hard time is because he constantly gets complaints from the other neighbors and he's sick and tired of hearing it. Either learn to live peacefully with your neighbors, or move.

While logical, this is unlikely for any number of reasons. The most glaring being that several neighbvors were actually at the party in question. Furthermore, my house lies in a seemingly undeveloped area of the community and is at least 85-100 yards away from the nearest house. If theres a stereo system at best buy that can disturb people from that far its definately out of my price range. The second is that im generally well liked in the community. Part of the covenants is that every member in the neighborhood participate in the neighborhood watch, and as my house is the nearest to the communities entrance and i get off work early enough, i am the one who watches the bus stop when most of the kids get home from school. There have been two occasions when someone has actually asked me to watch their kids when they were getting off work late and couldnt be home in time. Yet another reason this is unlikely is that several of the guys here play golf with my dad (who insures most of the neighborhoods houses) and, were there to be any complaints, they would most certainly be made to him, right? Either way, as i said earlier i probably shouldnt have made the original post, I was sauced at the time and thought it was funny, if I offended anyone with it im more than sorry.

Steve: :ROTF::ROTF: where did that come from?

Someone on here to describe a youtube vid, but I dont remember who, it was too funny not to use. I wish I remembered who it was that said it so I could give them proper credit.

Looks like there are two sides here. one the officer does have a stick up his ass for you. BUT you not helping your self with shit like pissing outside.
A friend of mine had sergant that had a hardon for him too. I don't think it stopped until he moved. I was even tired of getting pulled over after leaving his house.
The other side, I bet if he was on duty you would've needed some bail money.

You guys who piss outside better watch it. Indecent Exposure could make you added to the Sex Offender Registry. No shit. Watch it guys, if the wrong person sees you, you're a Sex Offender.

    airjamie,
Act out all you want. But understand all your "behavior" can come back and bite you on the ass. And it probably will, one way or another.
